Kashmiri Kahwa is a traditional tea brewed in the Kashmir Valley. It is a soothing blend of green tea, whole spices, and saffron.
Kahwa is rich in anti-oxidants and is traditionally offered as a post-meal drink. The unique flavour of this tea is due to the addition of Saffron strands.
Kahwa is best enjoyed without adding any milk/ dairy and just a small amount of honey / sweetener.
How to brew a perfect cup of Kahwa:
Step 1 - Bring a cup of water to a boil in a saucepan and take it off the heat
Step 2 - Add 1-2 heaped tsp of Kashmiri Kahwa and let it steep 2 minutes
Step 3 - Strain the Kahwa in a cup and finish off with some chopped almonds & dash of honey
Please note, that almonds and honey are optional
